Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
